Printer compatibility

PrintHaus PLA works with any FDM printer that takes 1.75mm filament, which covers almost every home and print-farm printer sold today. The only thing to check is your printer's filament diameter: a few machines use 2.85mm instead.

Not on the list? Check your printer's spec sheet or the filament setting in your slicer. If it says 1.75mm, you're good to go.

Setting it up

  1. Choose the Generic PLA profile in your slicer.
  2. Set the nozzle to 190–230°C and the bed to 50–65°C. 210°C and 60°C are a good start.
  3. Check the filament diameter is set to 1.75mm.

Full details, plus fixes for stringing and warping, are in our PLA print settings guide.

Multi-colour systems and spool holders

Each spool holds 1kg and fits standard spool holders. If you use a multi-colour unit such as a Bambu AMS or a Creality CFS, check the spool fits your unit before loading it, and re-spool onto a compatible spool if needed.
